These
are very tricky words. Think of them as defining the relationship between two
things. So I have a desk (1) and a pen (2). Is the pen ON the desk, IN the
desk, UNDER the desk, BEHIND the desk? These are prepositions of location.
There are prepositions of time also. Shall I meet you AT noon, IN an hour, ON
Sunday?
