There
are nouns (people, places, things and ideas) that we can count and those that
we cannot.
A
countable noun is one that has a singular form and a plural form. For
example, "dog--dogs," "teacher--teachers," "house--houses."
An
uncountable noun is one that usually cannot be expressed in a plural form. For
example, "water," "sugar," "money,"
"food." These words are always singular. NO: "He had
some moneys. We need to know the correct words to use with each.
